ZORA company profile covering its platform features, milestones, and team.
zora.coFounded 2020
Zora is a decentralized Web3 creator platform and NFT marketplace where users can mint, trade, and monetize on-chain content. It runs on blockchain technology and turns digital content like images, videos, memes, and text into tradable tokens and NFTs, opening up a new kind of on-chain creator economy. Launched in 2021, Zora started as an NFT marketplace but has grown into a Web3 social network and on-chain media protocol. Creators can publish content, earn directly from their work, and keep full ownership without relying on intermediaries. Key Features of Zora: • Supports open and dynamic pricing, allowing artists and collectors to freely choose and find value. • Combines social media and NFTs, with each post becoming a tradable token, connecting content creation to financial incentives. • Each piece of content can have its own liquidity pool, allowing for quick buying and selling right from the post interface. • The $ZORA token enables ecosystem participation, rewards, and community engagement on the platform.
