Superstate is a tokenized asset management platform built by Jim Hiltner, Robert Leshner, and Dean Swennumson. It connects traditional finance (TradFi) with the crypto market by bringing real-world financial assets onto the blockchain. With Superstate, enterprises can tokenize their equity and raise funds directly on networks like Ethereum and Solana. This facilitates global access to, trading of, and management of financial assets through blockchain technology. Key Features of Superstate: • Companies can list equity directly on blockchain networks with transparent ownership records. • Uses token-level permissioning, allowlisted wallets, and programmatic rules to stay aligned with regulatory frameworks. • Assets can be stored in wallets, traded, or used as collateral on various DeFi protocols. • Issuers determine the terms and raise funds directly, while investors gain immediate tokenized ownership on public blockchains. Superstate Milestones: Year Achievements 2023 Founded by the founder of Compound, with a clear goal of bringing regulated financial products to the blockchain. Coinbase Ventures, Distributed Global, and Arrington Capital provided seed funding. 2024 The Short-Term Government Bond Fund (USTB) was launched. This tokenized asset monitors short-term Treasury bills. Private Market Access: We developed the Superstate Private Fund, which offers institutional investors on-chain income opportunities. 2025 Multi-Chain Expansion: Tokenized assets were distributed across key Layer 2 networks to increase liquidity and speed up settlement.
